From Baku to Sea Breeze in 25 minutes: testing the new highway!

The opening of the Beyukshor-Pirshagi road has reduced the journey time from Baku to Sea Breeze resort to 25 minutes, making the trip to the Caspian coast comfortable and quick!


On November 7, the long-awaited opening of the new Beyukshor-Pirshagi highway took place. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the opening ceremony, which emphasized the importance of this infrastructure project for the development of the country’s transport network and improving the quality of life of its residents.

The new highway is 23 kilometers long. It begins in the Balakhany settlement, near Lake Beyukshor, and passes through the settlements of Digyakh and Mamedli, ending in the picturesque settlements of Kurdakhany and Pirshagi. Thanks to this route, which features modern pavement and convenient interchanges, travel through numerous settlements has become safer and faster.

With the introduction of this road, the journey to the popular Sea Breeze resort complex has been reduced to just 25 minutes, which will undoubtedly please many guests and residents of Baku. Now, trips to the Caspian Sea coast for recreation will become even more comfortable and accessible, providing quick access to Sea Breeze’s unique atmosphere and all its entertainment and amenities.
