On October 27, amidst an atmosphere of celebration and recognition, the star of Maksud Ibragimbekov — the People’s Writer of Azerbaijan, playwright, screenwriter, and Nobel Prize nominee in literature — was unveiled on the Sea Breeze Walk of Fame. The ceremony was attended by his wife, Anna Ibragimbekova, director of the Maksud Ibragimbekov Creativity Center and a member of the Union of Photographers of Azerbaijan.

Notable guests gathered for this significant event, including Sea Breeze resort city owner Emin Agalarov, Heydar Aliyev Foundation Vice-President Leyla Aliyeva, Azerbaijan’s Deputy Minister of Culture Murad Huseynov, People’s Writer Anar Rzayev, journalist and broadcaster Mikhail Gusman, filmmaker Oktay Mir-Kasimov, and other prominent cultural figures.

The ceremony featured music from films based on Ibragimbekov’s works, adding a unique note of nostalgia and respect to his legacy. As a memento, Anna Ibragimbekova received a framed image of Maksud Ibragimbekov’s star.

The Sea Breeze Walk of Fame is the first star-studded avenue in Azerbaijan, dedicated to outstanding artists from around the world. It already showcases the names of legends like Muslim Magomayev, Tamara Sinyavskaya, Engelbert Humperdinck, David Foster, Nicole Scherzinger, and others.
